Bedroom Painting Lansing
Looking to paint a bedroom in Lansing? Here's how we paint a bedroom, step by step:
Note: Generally, we will cut in a room before rolling out any paint. Cutting in the room is what takes the bulk of the time.
- Remove small furniture from bedroom and cover large furniture with drop cloths. Place additional drop cloths on floor.
- Remove outlet covers and vents.
- Spackle small nail holes and use joint compound to patch larger holes. For large holes, a second coat or third coat of joint compound may be necessary.
- Once dry, sand any areas we patched and spot prime those areas to prevent the patch from having a different sheen than the rest of the wall.
- Apply 1 - 2 coats (as needed) of paint to the ceiling.
- Apply 1-2 coats (as needed) of paint to all trim and doors.
